Dear Charles You are invited to register for our upcoming webinar, Sex Matters in Schools. Join Sex Matters, barrister Alice de Coverley and campaigner Stephanie Davies-Arai in a conversation about sex and gender in education. Together with Maya Forstater and Helen Joyce of Sex Matters, de Coverley and Davies-Arai will present the schools guidance produced by Transgender Trend and Sex Matters – Sex and gender identity: keep your pupils safe and comply with the law. There will be time for questions, and attendees can download copies of the guidance before or during the event. This webinar will cover the key issues for school leaders and education professionals: admissions, safeguarding, single-sex spaces, sports and teaching and learning. It will be recorded and made available to watch later on the Sex Matters YouTube channel. Alice de Coverley of 3PB Chambers specialises in education, equality and public law. She regularly acts on behalf of children and young people, vulnerable adults, parents and carers, schools, local authorities, charities and NGOs, government departments, students and universities. She is a published author on judicial review and school exclusions, and an expert on child safeguarding, particularly following her work on the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse. Her expertise was invaluable in drawing up the Sex Matters / Transgender Trend schools guidance.
