Freedom of speech overrated politically

Under capitalism, in the US, employees have no freedom of speech vis-a-vis employers . So, censorship of individuals is done a lot by bosses . Furthermore, the ability of individuals’ public speech to impact laws is de minimus ( one of our jurisprudential terms ). So, freedom of speech is overrated as a power of the rank and file of the People.
