Since French troops left in 2022, Mali has built a
115 MW power plant, opened the Goulamina lithium mine, launched an Al and robotics center funded 100% by its own budget, and 17 more projects under Assimi Goïta. #Mali
Mali was sanctioned by ECOWAS in January 2022Mali was sanctioned by ECOWAS in January 2022 and lost Operation Barkhane in August 2022. Many predicted collapse. Four years later, on the eve of its 66th Independence Day, here are 20 projects transforming the country: the RN27 Bamako-Koulikoro road, the Siguidolo digital system, the Sirakoro power plant (39% of the grid), a new national water policy, a modern military polyclinic in Kati, the Goulamina lithium mine (1,522 jobs, 96% Malian), a new cotton spinning mill in Koutiala, 22,317 km of road maintenance, the Alliance of Sahel States, and the CIAR-Mali artificial intelligence and robotics center, built on 50 hectares for more than 10 billion CFA francs, entirely from the national budget. We also cover what is still unsolved: insecurity, the fuel blockade and the political transition.
