Swing Left Hi Charles, We’re officially 30 days out from Election Day. The midterm elections will have a generational impact on the balance of power, and the work we do over the next four weeks will affect control of Congress and many state-level races. Across the country, volunteers will be on the ground every day from now til November 3rd, having listening-based persuasion conversations with voters through Ground Truth, Swing Left’s innovative voter contact program. Volunteers will spend time sharing with voters why it’s important to vote in this crucial election. Our goal is to have hundreds of thousands of substantive conversations with voters in key swing districts before polls close on November 3rd. So far, Swing Left volunteers and organizers have logged tens of thousands of conversations across the country. But over the next few weeks, our field presence needs to multiply rapidly in every priority battleground on our map. In tight races decided by a few thousand votes, Swing Left volunteers at the doors and on the phones can make a difference in moving voters through authentic conversation. When Ground Truth canvassers knock on doors, we don’t just read a script. We ask questions and listen to what matters most to voters. By talking with people in the communities that will decide this election, we gather real-time ground insights that help Democratic campaigns respond more to voters' needs and be smarter about their messaging, targeting, and outreach. Campaigns like Democratic Rep. Greg Landsman’s in OH-01, where he spent time this week following up with voters who had Ground Truth conversations with volunteers. With less than 30 days remaining, the conversations we’re having at voters' doorsteps are consequential to winning the House, the Senate, and key state races.
