The Masters story is a familiar one. He was educated at an Ivy league law school, made his money as a venture capitalist, and somewhere along the way became radicalized into another one of Trump’s Big Lie stooges. How bad is it? He says he “personally believes Trump won the 2020 election,” proudly self describes as a nationalist, and oh yeah… Tucker Carlson calls him the future of the GOP. It’s like JD Vance all over again. Blake Masters belongs in a dangerous category – there’s no zealot like a convert. He’s a strategic convert. He knows exactly the authoritarian water he’s trending in and is comfortable pulling any mechanism of power to enact his twisted vision of America. Trump’s got a type – but what you may not realize is that he’s embracing these nuts because he’s lost control of them. The “Trump GOP” is now fully the ultra-MAGA GOP, and there’s no going back. It’s no shock he’s going as extreme as possible to try to hold onto his kingmaker status. We beat Trump once and we’ll do it again. We know just how to beat Vance, Masters, and all the ultra-MAGA extremists."
