Hermaphroditism does not contradict only two genders

Hermaphroditism does not establish the point . I've always known about hermaphrodites. Definition of sex is one of two roles in reproduction at the gamete (sex cell) level. No individuals are born as hermaphrodites at the level of sperm/egg. No individual can transfer from one to the other .
