It is amazing that in 1937 there was a general strike in Lansing,  oh Lansing our State Capital. Americans act like every political day is a new day. In other words, in my opinion, Americans do not think of current events in terms of lessons of history.  The American Mind does a Specifically and especially, the lessons in class struggle from the past are forgotten, and the same mistakes are made as were made in the past.

History is irrelevant for voter.  Only the News, not the Olds, is of concern to Yankees, for some reason.

The American Mind goes through almost daily an etchasketch of itself.

Imagine how different the general thinking of the working class in Michigan was back in 1937 for there to be a "General Strike" in Lansing , Michigan !

  • Sheila Babs The problem is the people now a days don't know the first thing about how they had it so good..... For the most part workers today think that the company that they work for has been good to them.... But, they are soon going to find out just how good that company that they work for is going to be good to them....

  • Charles Brown There is a reason the American rulers inculcate in the masses of Amnericans disdain for thinking historically about the present and learning from history to apply it to their present lives. Americans act like everyday is a completely new day. duhhh
