Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has surged into the national political and class struggles like a St. George fighting the dragon named Wall Street.

An expert in financial matters from her previous jobs , she joins Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, as an outstandingly progressive and socialistic Member of Congress ( a future Labor Power blog will explore the question of just what _is_ going so well in Vermont, electing the only Independent , socialist Senator in the country, ___ and other leading policies).
And of course, her biggest efforts in the Senate have been to take on the monstrous task of regulating and re-regulating that Leviathan, which we know as Wall Street , finance capital.
On a side note, even the Pope is taking on Wall Street. "Earlier this month, he criticized the wealth made from financial speculation as intolerable and said speculation on commodities was a scandal that compromised the poor's access to food." The Pope was accused of being a Leninist for this.
