omen and girls are under assault on every front. Male violence, exploitation, and discrimination continue as always, but they have also found new outlets–and new cover.

Dear Friend, Women and girls are under assault on every front. Male violence, exploitation, and discrimination continue as always, but they have also found new outlets–and new cover.

Misogynists now describe us with dehumanizing phrases such as non-men, menstruators, and birthing bodies. They imprison women with rapists; eliminate female-only spaces, sports, and scholarships; and teach girls who don’t embrace sex stereotypes that they must harm their healthy bodies in order to be their “true selves.”

At the same time, authorities around the globe are considering laws to establish a man’s “right” to the use of a woman’s body, whether for paid rape or gestation. And children of both sexes view increasingly violent pornography at increasingly young ages, learning early that a woman’s place is to be subjugated, humiliated, and brutalized.

WDI USA is the U.S. chapter of the largest global organization fighting for women’s sex-based rights, and against the backlash to our gains of the last century or more.

But we can’t do it without you.

Let’s be blunt. Organizations pushing sex denial can outspend us by breathtaking sums.

In its 2022 annual report, the ACLU reported almost $402 million in support and revenue. Human Rights Campaign, in its 2021 annual report, reported more than $70 million in revenue. In our 2022 annual report, WDI USA was proud to report total revenue of a bit more than $170,000.

We have the enormous advantages of truth, basic fairness, and common sense on our side. But it will also take considerably more dollars to get our message heard loudly enough that it can no longer be ignored.

Six months ago, WDI USA launched WIN Giving, a program to recognize the supporters helping us to establish a broad, steady funding base. By setting up recurring monthly gifts, WIN donors enable us to carry out our current work and to plan responsibly for future legal and legislative advocacy, public education efforts, and non-violent direct actions.

What’s more, as a grassroots, all-volunteer organization with no physical premises and no paid employees, we are able to put nearly every penny of WIN donors’ monthly gifts directly to work in the fight for the sex-based rights of women and girls.

From legal fees to file amicus briefs in federal courts to printing costs for banners in support of women’s sports, WIN donors underwrite all of WDI USA’s vital work.

WIN Giving represents a crucial commitment from friends like you: when it comes to the fight for women’s liberation, We’re IN!

To thank WIN donors for their generosity, and to maintain a closer relationship, we offer an array of WIN Giving benefits. These include a quarterly e-newsletter; a selection of branded merchandise; advance notice of public events; and exclusive opportunities to meet our Board and staff.

We know that you care deeply about women and girls. If your circumstances allow it, we would be grateful for your monthly WIN gift in any amount.

Thank you for considering WIN Giving, and thank you for all that you do to advance the sex-based rights of women and girls, both in the U.S. and around the globe. With gratitude, The WDI USA Development Team JOIN NOW Facebook LinkedIn Twitter Women’s Declaration International, USA (WDI USA) is the American chapter of a global organization dedicated to protecting women’s sex-based rights. Our founding document, the Declaration on Women’s Sex-Based Rights, re-affirms women and girls' sex-based rights as enumerated in the 1979 Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and subsequent international agreements, and challenges the discrimination we experience from the replacement of the category of sex with that of ‘gender identity’. The Declaration is a clear call to law and policy makers to retain the sex-based biological definition of woman. WDI is a nonpartisan organization which advocates for human rights for women and girls through volunteer political activism. WDI USA does not endorse any action which is unsafe or violates state or federal civil or criminal law.
