Stop claiming MLK legacy , America

In recent years , I have developed a resentment for the way America presents its relationship to MLK. America has not gotten anywhere near the Dream. Also The Dreamer was assassinate for pursuing the Dream of equality . King's Civil Rights Act has been decimated by the Republican state officials suppressing the Black vote , the Republican Supreme Court ending the Voting Rights Act check on racist states and now the Republicans in the Senate blocking return of voting protections against racist state Republicans planning even more fascist forms of racist voter repression. King’s Dream has not come true , but been thwarted and he was assassinated, America . Stop taking credit for King’s speech , America . We’ve been going through the Reaganite Republican racist nightmare, the new racism , for almost 40 years .
