Libertarianism is the logical political outlook of Individualism. Individualist philosophy is rife under capitalism, especially in the US where historically Europeans got land back after being historically expropriated of it back in Europe, especially England.

bourgeois individualism; libertarianism

Libertarians are the complete opposite of communists. Communists recognize fundamentally that in human society there are , in fact, no independent individuals. All human societies, including capitalism are highly social, many , many social connections. Libertarians and bourgeois thinkers have a giant illusion of the independence of Individuals, that society is a collection of "parts". Wrong: in human society the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
