Cornell University is facing online backlash over its alleged response after a female student accused seven fraternity members of r*pe. According to a lawsuit filed earlier in Sep-tember, the school allegedly expelled two of the accused, while others were offered to "mit-igate their conduct by submitting essays."
The alleged incident happened in October 2024, when a student, identified as Jane Doe, was visiting a friend at Chi Phi frat house. The lawsuit against the school, Chi Phi, and the seven accused frat brothers alleges that she was drugged and r*ped by seven frat brothers.
