Funny, none of these clowns voted for Carter........EITHER TIME.
Former
Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) called for Christian pastors to become
more politically vocal as a new poll showed him garnering early support

- You and 17 others like this.
- Judy Jackson They just do not know how to keep their religion out of politics do they? Keep talking Huckabee and watch those votes disappear.
- Susan Reinhard THEIR racist, sexist, fascist interpretation of it which would have Jesus starving all black and brown people even though HE WAS BROWN SKINNED. Not the blonde hair blue eyed lie that these con men push. How in HELL can Democrats REFUSE to vote in MidTerms and let these people take over and not feel any guilt or regret. Get off your high horses and vote! If you claim to be 'too busy' I GUARANTEE you the Republicans will destroy your job and you won't be 'too busy' then.
- Judy Jackson Only way I'm not voting is if I'm dead!!!!!! And I will take anyone to the polls that needs a ride.
- Judy Jackson Alabama. Not that we have a snowballs chance in hell of winning anything here. The way they CHEAT.
- Judy Jackson I JUST know that this state is going to get Caught Red Handed one day and when they do, the party is at my house.
- Judy Jackson When GA flips I am hoping the rest of these southern Tea Billies will be done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Karl Stahnke I think defeatism among potential Democratic voters is what keeps turnout down. If Georgia can flip because people get involved, that will have major positive effects.
- Roy Haynes a biblical understanding of economy? i can agree with that as the bible decries usury and interest charging, but then again, i guess this asshat doesn't know this or he never would have made the statement.....
- Cory Thomas Blake If that is the case, then how do they explain the support of banking institutions that charge usury rate level interest?
- Karl Stahnke Roy, now in fairness, Jesus had a liberal view of the economy, "Do not give someone a fish, teach him HOW to fish" That sounds like Lyndon Johnson to me.
- Arlene Kahn You know what, there's a very simple way to take care of his complaint that the government is preventing pastors from speaking freely about politics. End their tax exempt status, make them pay taxes on ALL of their income (the amount of money coming from Huckabee's church and the mega churches could probably be enough to get rid of the deficit) then they can spread their hate and intolerance to their hearts content.
- Arlene Kahn Well, Gretta, allowing them to preach about politics in their churches is fine by me as long as they lose their tax exempt status. They're doing it anyway so we may as well get the cash to use for things that need to be done in this country.
- Jim Hubbard http://www.huffingtonpost.com/.../the-deadly-cost-of...
- Robert Tuthill I say if they start preaching politics from the pulpit , they lose their tax exemption; period.
- Arlene Kahn That's the whole thing, Robert, they have been preaching politics from the pulpit and should have had their tax exemption yanked. However, you saw the melt down Repubs had when the IRS did it's job.
