behaviorism: thought as observable behavior

Let me see (reflect) .

There is nothing but matter, and its mode of existence is motion-Engels

There is no mind/body problem. The mind is the brain; brain is material.

Conscious mind perceives (observes) objective reality; and remembers (observes memories from the unconscious) . Our thoughts are these perceptions and memories.<

Our perceptions cause recall of memories of similar perceptions, so that we don't feel like we are in a strange type of environment.

Memories are in brain neurons. They are recordings of perceptions. Vast majority of memories are in the unconscious.

Human conscious thoughts are perceptions and recalled memories. Uniquely among animals, many human conscious thoughts from memory are WORDS or SYMBOLIC SIGNS. ( many perceptions are of words, too)<

Conscious observes its thoughts (and its environment); that's thinking.

Conscious can observe and remember; unconscious is all memories. Conscious remembers from unconscious.

Conscious observes its thoughts ( and its environment) ; that's thinking.<

Conscious observes itself ( must be a mirror effect; reflection ?) observes its own BEHAVIOR.<

Therefore, introspection is behaviorist.<

When you say, "We extend", it means our conscious observes its thoughts as it observes its environment. Human thoughts are largely words. We observe them by hearing speech sounds " in our heads." ( At least I do in my head). They are memories. Some are other people speaking to us. We have visual and touch and smell memories and perceptions, too. No?
