It is a cultural structure analogized to a biological structure. Female/male (biological category ) is analogized by woman/man ( cultural category). Then the cultural category is elaborated to third terms that are not in biology. There are only two sexes , but third and fourth genders .

There is evidence that epigenetic processes , i.e. Biological processes in the womb cause homosexual preference ; something reverses the Herero-sexual instinct . So, Foucault is wrong about much of the minority , too .
