and it's getting nastier. Over the past
few weeks, we have seen the tariff war
just backfire badly. The jobs report
shows us is not just industries getting
clobbered. Virtually every sector has
got hammered, which makes total sense.
The effects are broadbased and everyone
is affected. The average US tariff rate
100year historic high. The big jump came
from the crazy copper tariffs. They just
send taxes to the moon. So if an item
once cost $100, you are probably paying
at least $120 for it now. The extra $20
is hitting from your pocket all the way

spend. And that's why companies are
slashing and burning jobs today. Overall
consumption is going down. People are
