“These inscriptions, used for divination, represent the earliest form of systematic Chinese writing. Over time, the script transitioned from pictographic to logographic, with characters representing words and concepts”

In general we humans’ Concepts are in the form of words when we communicate. I think they are in the form of words in our brain’s ; maybe some pictures in our brains. I don’t have many picture memory thoughts myself . Of course I have picture perceptions in my brain. And sound , touch , smell , taste perceptions .
But concepts are in the form of words in my memory.
<
I’m thinking the first pictographs represented words and concepts, too. If you follow me.
<
What is the difference between words and concepts. ? . Both are symbolic communication units .<
A logograph is a character that is a stylized (abbreviated) version of the picture ( drawing ; copy of something seen in objective reality) of a pictographic character ancestral to the logographic character. ?
