Mass protests are not going to change the laws alone or directly; only if they lead to overwhelmingly majority VOTES to elect officials to change the laws of capitalist private property to socialist laws of communal property.
A mass MAJORITY violent uprising in the US today would be mass suicide; not to mention it ain't gonna happen.
