We Northern Blacks did unite with Coleman Young , and we did make it Chocolate City for real. 85% Black , more than any Southern City. You need to unite your Southern view with our Northern view to attain maximum Black Power Consciousness like I got following my father and Coleman Young . We drove out white people with the 67 Guerrilla Theater and built the largest % Black population in the nation . <


It was overt in the North. In the 20’s , the largest kkk group was in Indiana . Housing was segregated : The Philadelphia Negro, Harlem, Black Bottom Detroit. Colored got the lowest paying hardest jobs at Ford, no elected officials til Diggs in the 50’s . It wasn’t as violent and thorough, but substantial enough that we got the idea real good . Y’all can’t teach us much . <
