The idea the China would attack the U.S. militarily is absurd

US constantly makes paranoid claims that China poses a national security threat to the US . Why would China attack the US, a country with nuclear weapons , and with which China does an enormous amount of business ?! It's an absurd idea . China couldn't possibly conquer and occupy the US .
