All hail the Lions’ winning Grit ! Wait’ll next year when we add a bit more Wit !

I'm traveling to Bert's from my house 1365 through the Lions' fan crowd which has always been thick along the route up Rivard , Antitem , Gratiot , Russell ever since the Lions moved into Ford Field; with tailgate parties supreme in Eastern Market. I always said the football fans are the baddest parties that come around Bert's . Anyway , all these years I couldn't root for the Lions because they have been legendary losers for a long, long time. Pitiful really . I can't hang with losers ; sorry . I can pity you . So, I always felt sorry for the fans walking back up Gratiot to their cars . But they were loyal , suffering through it all . Now ! with experts predicting a good Lion season and Lions winning their first game against last year's champs I drive through Lions' fans marching like they are on their way to the reward for all their patient waiting ... (maybe a Lion just made two bad plays giving the Seahawks a touchdown) giggles !
