In his campaigning for change as a candidate, President Obama always emphasized that change comes from the bottom up in history. So, when in 2013 ,as President he initiated a campaign to raise the "bottom" -wage, he was practicing what he had preached.

May 15, 2014 is slated as a national protest demonstration for raising the minimum wage to $15.00/hour. I truly hope that the minimum wage in Michigan is raised! I'm glad Obama took the lead and pray that Michigan will follow. It pains me to see "those that have" make sure those that need are not getting what they deserve; especially since "those that have" are using the laborers to keep what they have.
