Now we get down to fundamentalist white supremacists' real beef with Obama: he represents a Black man having sex with a White woman. Because of the American one-drop rule , she added to the Black population thereby, not the white population. Since slavery a central American demographic rule has been to maintain a larger white than Black population.
Both short and long term memories are recordings of seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting or touching , that is experience. All memory is a recording in the brain in neurons of a sense experience. All experience is sensory. Some experience is feeling something inside the body but most is experiencing outside the body
I wrote November 2014: <

US political system is unstable, in crisis. It is vacillating between Obama Democrats and Reagan Republicans every two years. <

That is an improvement over before 2008 , when it was all Reaganism even through the Clinton Presidency.

We now have the 1% in a political struggle, and the desperate measures the bourgeoisie are instituting -creeping up on an American fascism - indicate that the ruling class considers this the final conflict struggle if we, the working class win . Why else would the Republican Party act so politically insane ? It just bespeaks desperation, as I said. They know their system better than we do , sometimes.

Evidently, the election of a Black President and then re-election ! throws a David rock into their Goliath head , or something. The jig is up. They have all the money, and are getting more of it everyday. What are they worried about <

This would mean people over 50 can very accurately recall their ability to remember new information from 25+ years earlier! That’s preservation of long term memory or would be ; ironically indeed

"Almost everyone over the age of 50 knows that their ability to remember new information and their ability to recall names and words is less than it was in their 20s," he tells Parade. "This brain aging progresses throughout the rest of life. Ironically, our wisdom increases through experience as we age, but our word finding and recall do decline each year." <

CB: I hypothesize that there is less ability to memorize with age because there are fewer unused memory cells ; memory is fuller of memories accumulated over the years . Younger brains have more cells that are not holding memories , are empty and can receive and store memories <

???COVID Had a Startling Impact on Our Brains, New Research Says—Here's What a Neurologist Wants You to Do

study, published on July 22, 2025, in Nature Communications, researchers observed brain scans from 1,000 people before and during the pandemic and compared them with scans of people from when life was more, well, normal.<

They looked at the volume of gray matter (the part of the brain that controls movement, emotions and memory) and white matter (the part of the brain that's responsible for most of your nervous system functioning) participants had, as well as their chronological age, cognitive skills and overall brain function.

The study's findings were startling: Brains during the pandemic aged at a rate of about 5.5 months faster than brains in "normal" periods, whether or not people actually were ever infected with COVID-19. <

Just about everyone loses some brain cells and sees a reduction in brain volume with age. However, when a person goes through more changes to their brain health than is considered normal for their age, it's often referred to as "brain atrophy." According to Cleveland Clinic, signs of brain atrophy may include:<

Apathy or anhedonia (not caring about or enjoying things you usually love)

Aphasia (difficulty with reading, writing, speaking or understanding words)

Depression

Hallucinations

Irritability

Memory loss

Mood swings

Personality changes
Poor judgment

Seizures

How Did the COVID-19 Pandemic Impact Brain Aging for People Who Weren't Infected? Lead study author Dr. Ali Reza Mohammadi-Nejad, M.Sc., Ph.D., said in a statement to TIME that the findings were somewhat unexpected, as previous studies found that being infected with COVID-19 impacted brain health negatively (especially those unlucky enough to get long COVID).<

"We found that participants who simply lived through the pandemic period, regardless of infection, also showed signs of slightly accelerated brain aging. This highlights that the broader experience of the pandemic—including disruptions to daily life, stress, reduced social interactions, reduced activity, etc.,—may have had a measurable impact on brain health," Dr. Mohammadi-Nejad explains.

Research has shown that both stress and not maintaining social connections can accelerate cognitive decline, and goodness knows that the pandemic caused a lot of stress and exacerbated loneliness for many, so if you're concerned about its impact on your brain aging, definitely speak with your doctor.

How Does COVID-19 Infection Impact Brain Health? For some people who did get infected with COVID, neurologists say that brain health is impacted in a big way.

"The acute viral infection was associated with hypoxia (oxygen deprivation), which affects many brain areas, but especially those involved in short-term memory," Dr. Schulz tells Parade. Additionally, he notes, "COVID was associated with clogging of blood vessels, so strokes, large or small, were observed with COVID."

COVID is also associated with brain inflammation (also called encephalitis), which can age our brains. "COVID, like many viruses, can cause an acute encephalitis. That is usually associated with immediate changes in cognition and brain volumes. People may recover after that, but some persons remain chronically impaired," Dr. Schulz says. "COVID is one of the few viruses where we also observe people who may be cognitively normal during the viral infection and when the infection clears. However, over the subsequent months to years, they may experience cognitive decline and brain volume loss."

How Can We Slow or Reduce Brain Aging? In terms of brain aging from COVID-19 infections, Dr. Schulz says it's not clear just yet how to prevent or slow it because the specific cause hasn't been pinpointed yet. That said, getting vaccinated against COVID-19 can help prevent severe infection, which can, in turn, prevent hypoxia, which is harmful for your brain aging.

For dementia or other brain atrophy disorders that aren't necessarily tied to COVID, some studies suggest we may be able to reduce our risk by a whopping 45% through treating and avoiding risk factors.

Women’s Liberation: Effective /Affective Activism

effective activism: how ? <

The key to understanding subjectivity (personality, character) is women's liberation, as the oppression of women is the fundamental barrier to personality and subjective health. The emancipation of mass subjectivity and self-determination is necessary for democracy in society at large and in revolutionary organizations.

Mothers, women parents, and women teachers play a big role in creating the psychology, the mentality, the spirit, the motivation of every individual somebody, person.

You know, we saw during the 12-day Israel Iran war, there was a really rapid depletion of the US arsenal. And now we have reports from Wall Street Journal said uh Israel basic they just used up one quarter of one quarter of all the US THAD missiles as that has been ever produced in 12 days. and they're going to have a huge problem trying to restock and and adding to that restocking problem is China's export on rare earth uh controls and how how are they going to get that <

people in Washington are saying oh there's no problem we just got to scrap our environmental regulations and and dig baby dig you know just drill baby drill well us do have real earth mines there's a large mine called the mountain pass mine in California just near Las Vegas. Uh so digging out the real earth is not a problem. The the real problem is in refining um because the the real earth industry has moved to real earth industry has moved to China for 40 years now. All the processing all the technology of actually making the heat resistance rare earth magnet now it's Chinese. <

to give an example in China most of the university offer the real earth chemistry uh class in US university there's none because that industry doesn't exist anymore in the US so when they dig out the real earth from California currently what they do they send it over to China for processing <

so it's not a problem of just digging so so it's not a problem of just digging it out and it's going to take them years to try to set up a China independent supply chain because uh first of all you don't have the human capital. We don't have those courses in university to train people how to do the job. and then all the technology all the machine tools are in China and so at this point if you want to slap 100% tariff on China just say ok no rare earth for you. Imperialism, Socialism, and the Liberation of Oppressed Nations Imperialism is the highest stage of development of capitalism. Capital in the advanced countries has outgrown the boundaries of national states. It has established monopoly in place of competition, thus creating all the objective prerequisites for the achievement of socialism. Hence, in Western Europe and in the United States of America, the revolutionary struggle of the proletariat for the overthrow of the capitalist governments, for the expropriation of the bourgeoisie, is on the order of the day. Imperialism is forcing the masses into this struggle by sharpening class antagonisms to an immense degree, by worsening the conditions of the masses both economically—trusts and high cost of living, and politically—growth of militarism, frequent wars, increase of reaction, strengthening and extension of national oppression and colonial plunder. Victorious socialism must achieve complete democracy and, consequently, not only bring about the complete equality of nations, but also give effect to the right of oppressed nations to self-determination, i.e., the right to free political secession. Socialist Parties which fail to prove by all their activities now, as well as during the revolution and after its victory, that they will free the enslaved nations and establish relations with them on the basis of a free union and a free union is a lying phrase without right to secession—such parties would be committing treachery to socialism. Of course, democracy is also a form of state which must disappear when the state disappears, but this will take place only in the process of transition from completely victorious and consolidated socialism to complete communism. 2. The Socialist Revolution and the Struggle for Democracy The socialist revolution is not one single act, not one single battle on a single front; but a whole epoch of intensified class conflicts, a long series of battles on all fronts, i.e., battles around all the problems of economics and politics, which can culminate only in the expropriation of the bourgeoisie. It would be a fundamental mistake to suppose that the struggle for democracy can divert the proletariat from the socialist revolution, or obscure, or overshadow it, etc. On the contrary, just as socialism cannot be victorious unless it introduces complete democracy, so the proletariat will be unable to prepare for victory over the bourgeoisie unless it wages a many-sided, consistent and revolutionary struggle for democracy. If would be no less mistaken to delete any of the points of the democratic programme, for example, the point of self-determination of nations, on the ground that it is “infeasible,” or that it is “illusory” under imperialism. The assertion that the right of nations to self-determination cannot be achieved within the framework of capitalism may be understood either in its absolute, economic sense, or in the conventional, political sense. In the first case, the assertion is fundamentally wrong in theory. First, in this sense, it is impossible to achieve such things as labour money, or the abolition of crises, etc., under capitalism. But it is entirely incorrect to argue that the self-determination of nations is likewise infeasible. Secondly, even the one example of the secession of Norway from Sweden in 1905 is sufficient to refute the argument that it is “infeasible” in this sense. Thirdly, it would be ridiculous to deny that, with a slight change in political and strategical relationships, for example, between Germany and England, the formation of new states, Polish, Indian, etc, would be quite “feasible” very soon. Fourthly, finance capital, in its striving towards expansion, will “freely” buy and bribe the freest, most democratic and republican government and the elected officials of any country, however “independent” it may be. The domination of finance capital, as of capital in general, cannot be abolished by any kind of reforms in the realm of political democracy, and self-determination belongs wholly and exclusively to this realm. The domination of finance capital, however, does not in the least destroy the significance of political democracy as the freer, wider and more distinct form of class oppression and class struggle. Hence, all arguments about the “impossibility of achieving” economically one of the demands of political democracy under capitalism reduce themselves to a theoretically incorrect definition of the general and fundamental relations of capitalism and of political democracy in general. In the second case, this assertion is incomplete and inaccurate, for not only the right of nations to self-determination, but all the fundamental demands of political democracy are “possible of achievement” under imperialism, only in an incomplete, in a mutilated form and as a rare exception (for example, the secession of Norway from Sweden in 1905). The demand for the immediate liberation of the colonies, as advanced by all revolutionary Social-Democrats, is also “impossible of achievement” under capitalism without a series of revolutions. This does not imply, however, that Social Democracy must refrain from conducting an immediate and most determined struggle for all these demands—to refrain would merely be to the advantage of the bourgeoisie and reaction. On the contrary, it implies that it is necessary to formulate and put forward all these demands, not in a reformist, but in a revolutionary way; not by keeping within the framework of bourgeois legality, but by breaking through it; not by confining oneself to parliamentary speeches and verbal protests, but by drawing the masses into real action, by widening and fomenting the struggle for every kind of fundamental, democratic demand, right up to and including the direct onslaught of the proletariat against the bourgeoisie, i.e., to the socialist revolution, which will expropriate the bourgeoisie. The socialist revolution may break out not only in consequence of a great strike, a street demonstration, a hunger riot, a mutiny in the forces, or a colonial rebellion, but also in consequence of any political crisis, like the Dreyfus affair,[4] the Zabern incident,[5] or in connection with a referendum on the secession of an oppressed nation, etc. The intensification of national oppression under imperialism makes it necessary for Social-Democracy not to renounce what the bourgeoisie describes as the “utopian” struggle for the freedom of nations to secede, but, on the contrary, to take more advantage than ever before of conflicts arising also on this ground for the purpose of rousing mass action and revolutionary attacks upon the bourgeoisie. 3. The Meaning of the Right to Self-Determination and its Relation to Federation The right of nations to self-determination means only the right to independence in a political sense, the right to free, political secession from the oppressing nation. Concretely, this political, democratic demand implies complete freedom to carry on agitation in favour of secession, and freedom to settle the question of secession by means of a referendum of the nation that desires to secede. Consequently, this demand is by no means identical with the demand for secession, for partition, for the formation of small states. It is merely the logical expression of the struggle against national oppression in every form. The more closely the democratic system of state approximates to complete freedom of secession, the rarer and weaker will the striving for secession be in practice; for the advantages of large states, both from the point of view of economic progress and from the point of view of the interests of the masses, are beyond doubt, and these advantages increase with the growth of capitalism. The recognition of self-determination is not the same as making federation a principle. One may be a determined opponent of this principle and a partisan of democratic centralism and yet prefer federation to national inequality as the only path towards complete democratic centralism. It was precisely from this point of view that Marx, although a centralist, preferred even the federation of Ireland with England to the forcible subjection of Ireland to the English.[6] The aim of socialism is not only to abolish the present division of mankind into small states and all national isolation; not only to bring the nations closer to each other, but also to merge them. And in order to achieve this aim, we must, on the one hand, explain to the masses the reactionary nature of the ideas of Renner and Otto Bauer concerning so-called “cultural national autonomy”[7] and, on the other hand, demand the liberation of the oppressed nations, not only in general, nebulous phrases, not in empty declamations, not by “postponing” the question until socialism is established, but in a clearly and precisely formulated political programme which shall particularly take into account the hypocrisy and cowardice of the Socialists in the oppressing nations. Just as mankind can achieve the abolition of classes only by passing through the transition period of the dictatorship of the oppressed class, so mankind can achieve the inevitable merging of nations only by passing through the transition period of complete liberation of all the oppressed nations, i.e., their freedom to secede. 4. "The consensus of modern scholars on the historicity of the Exodus is that the Pentateuch does not give an accurate account of the origins of the Israelites, who appear instead to have formed as an entity in the central highlands of Canaan in the late second millennium BCE (around the time of the Late Bronze Age collapse) from the indigenous Canaanite culture.[3][4][5] Most modern scholars believe that some elements in the story of the Exodus might have some historical basis, but that any such basis has little resemblance to the story told in the Pentateuch.[6][7][8] While the majority of modern scholars date the composition of the Pentateuch to the period of the Achaemenid Empire (5th century BCE), some of the elements of this narrative are older, since allusions to the story are made by 8th-century BCE prophets such as Amos and Hosea.[8][9" <

Terf Island: How the UK resisted trans ideology by Fiona McAnena, out 1 August 2025

I am reading Fiona’s book, Terf Island: How the UK Resisted Trans Ideology. (Have I already mentioned – it’s really good!) The first chapter is about Stephanie Davies-Arai, who founded Transgender Trend in 2015, well before many other people had realised how gender ideology was harming children.

In 2017, when Stephanie learned that the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) was working with Mermaids, Gendered Intelligence, Gires, Stonewall and Press for Change in preparation for publishing guidance on trans issues for schools, she pulled together a group of dissident educators and child-development experts who raced to produce their own guidance. Stonewall told teachers: “If it lands on your desk: shred it.” <

More than seven years and seven Secretaries of State for Education later, schools still lack sound official guidance on how to respond to requests from children to be treated as the opposite sex.

The government has said that schools in England might have long-awaited guidance, “if published”, when they re-open in September.

Since 2021 Sex Matters has been working with Transgender Trend to produce guidance that is clear about the law. Last September we published a Model policy for schools. We have now updated it following the Supreme Court’s judgment in For Women Scotland. <

There wasn’t much to update, since the Supreme Court’s judgment really only relates to people with gender-recognition certificates, who must be over 18. But it confirmed what should have been obvious all along. Neither a certificate nor a strong wish to be the opposite sex or personal steps such as changing name, clothing or hairstyle, taking hormones or having cosmetic surgery can change a person’s sex. <

Children might think differently, but responsible adults and institutions need to be clear about the truth.

Children who are distressed about their sex should be protected from harm and from bullying. But if children, their parents (or even their doctors) ask if children can use opposite-sex facilities and be referred to and treated as if they were the opposite sex, the answer should always have been No.

School leaders, teachers and school staff need to know, record and use information on every child’s sex. Policies adopted by local authorities such as Brighton and Hove City Council that are based on the idea that schools must try to avoid “outing” a child’s sex are unworkable and unlawful, and put children at risk.

Before pupils return in September, the government should direct schools that they are not to pretend that people can change sex, because they are not keeping children safe if they do so.

We have sent our updated model policy to the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson MP.

We have also taken the chance to alert her to the campaign being launched by BBC children’s presenter Dr Ronx to distribute “Safe With Me” badges to schools, hospitals and retailers. The badge, aimed at both children and adults, is a pledge that the wearer will “accompany trans+ people to their preferred facilities if asked”.

It should be obvious that handing out badges enabling people to self-identify as “safe” and telling children to accompany adult strangers to the toilet is utterly irresponsible. But then it should be obvious that pretending that men can be women is irresponsible too.

Al Overview WBH +10 : Yes, it's widely believed that American culture, like many Western cultures, exhibits a strong admiration for youth, often to an excessive degree. ® Here's why:<

• Cultural Emphasis on Youth and Beauty: Western societies often equate youth with beauty, vitality, and desirability, while aging is frequently associated with decline and loss.

• Media and Marketing: Advertising and media industries frequently reinforce the cult of youth by targeting younger demographics and promoting products and services that promise to reverse or conceal the signs of aging.

• Plastic Surgery Trends: The popularity of anti-aging procedures like facelifts and Botox injections reflects a societal desire to maintain munithfillannaranan

Q does america have excess admiration for youth <

Focus on Individualism and Novelty: A hyper-individualistic culture emphasizing productivity and newness can lead to a preference for youth, which is seen as representing potential and progress.

• Ageism: This admiration for youth can also contribute to ageism, a prejudice and discrimination against older adults. This can manifest in negative stereotypes, marginalization in media and potentially even in healthcare settings. ®

It's important to note • Not all Americans share this view: Many individuals and communities value the wisdom and experience that come with age. • Efforts to counter ageism are underway:

Initiatives are working to challenge negative stereotypes about aging and promote more positive and inclusive views of older adults in media and society. ®

In conclusion, while celebrating youth has its positive aspects, an excessive admiration can contribute to ageism and devalue the contributions and experience of older generations

Black Philosopher Dubois : “Again, China and Africa, hail and farewell! “

THE WORLD AND AFRICA / W. E. Burghardt Du Bois Against a background of the vast contributions of ancient and modern Africa to world culture, peace and industry, Dr. Du Bois documents the historic injustices of the rape of Africa, from the slave trade to its partition by the colonial powers. The articles and essays on the emerging new nations and personalities of Africa, written by Dr. Du Bois frem 1955-1961, have been added to the original manuscript.<

CHINA AND AFRICA On February 23, his 91st birthday, Dr. Du Bois was in Peking, where his birthday was celebrated at a public dinner. On the same day he spoke to more than 1,000 students and faculty at Peking University. The text is from New World Review, New York, April 1959.

By courtesy of the government of the 680 million people of the Chinese Republic, I am permitted on my 91st birthday to speak to the people of China and Africa and through them to the world. Hail, then, and farewell, dwelling places of the yellow and black races. Hail humankind!

I speak with no authority, no assumption of age or rank; I hold no position, I have no wealth. One thing alone I own and that is my own soul. Ownership of that I have even while in my own country for near a century I have been nothing but a "nigger." On this basis and this alone I dare speak, I dare advise.

China after long centuries has arisen to her feet and leapt forward. Africa arise, and stand straight, speak and think! Act! Turn from the West and your slavery and humiliation for the last 500 years and face the rising sun. Behold a people, the most populous nation on this ancient earth which has burst its shackles, not by boasting and strutting, not by lying about its history and its conquests, but by patience and long-suffering, by hard, backbreaking labor and with bowed head and blind struggle, moved up and on toward the crimson sky.

She aims to "make men holy; to make men free." But What men? Not simply the rich, but not excluding the rich; not simply the learned, but led by knowledge to the end that no man shall be poor, nor sick, nor ignorant; that the humblest worker as well as the sons of emperors First, understand! Realize that the great mass of mankind is freeing itself from wage slavery, while private capital in Britain, France and now in America, is still trying to maintain civilization and comfort for a few on the toil, disease and ignorance of the mass of men. Understand this, and understanding comes from direct knowledge. You know America and France and Britain to your sorrow. Now know the Soviet Union and its allied nations, but particularly know China.<

China is flesh of your flesh and blood of your blood.

China is colored and knows to what a colored skin in this modern world subjects its owner. But China knows more, much more than this: she knows what to do about it. She can take the insults of the United States and still hold her head high. She can make her own machines or go without machines, when America refuses to sell her American manufactures even though this throws her workers out of jobs and hurts American industry. China does not need American nor British missionaries to teach her religion and scare her with tales of hell. China has been in hell too long, not to believe in a heaven of her own making. This she is doing.

Come to China, Africa, and look around. Invite Africa to come, China, and see what you can teach just by pointing. Yonder old woman is working on the street. But she is happy.

She has no fear. Her children are in school and a good school.

If she is ill, there is a hospital where she is cared for free of charge. She has a vacation with pay each year. She can die and be buried without taxing her family to make some undertaker rich.

Africa can answer: but some of this we have done; our tribes undertake public service like this. Very well, let your tribes continue and expand this work. What Africa must realize is what China knows: that it is worse than stupid to allow a people's education to be under the control of those who seek not the progress of the people but their use as means of making themselves rich and powerful. It is wrong for the University of London to control the University of Ghana. It is wrong for the Catholic Church to direct the education of the black Congolese. It was wrong for Protestant churches supported by British and American wealth to control

CHINA AND AFRICA 315 higher education in China. The Soviet Union is surpassing the world in popular and higher education, because from the beginning it started its own complete educational system.

The essence of the revolution in the Soviet Union and China and in all the "iron curtain" nations, is not the violence that accompanied the change-no more than starvation at Valley Forge was the essence of the American revolution against Britain. The real revolution is the acceptance on the part of the nation of the fact that hereafter the main object of the nation is the welfare of the mass of the people and not of a lucky few.

Government is for the people's progress and not for the comfort of the aristocracy. The object of industry is the welfare of the workers and not the wealth of the owners. The object of civilization is the cultural progress of the mass of workers and not merely of an intellectual elite. And in return for all this, communist lands believe that the cultivation of the mass of people will discover more talent and genius to serve the state than any closed aristocracy ever furnished. This belief the current history of the Soviet Union and China is proving true each day. Therefore don't let the West invest when you can avoid it. Don't buy capital from Britain, France and the United States if you can get it on reasonable terms from the Soviet Union and China. This is not politics; it is common sense. It is learning from experience.

It is trusting your friends and watching your enemies.

Refuse to be cajoled or to change your way of life so as to make a few of your fellows rich at the expense of a mass scha: so har i or ma sca and remining withou Africa, here is a real danger which you must avoid or return to the slavery from which you are emerging. All I ask from ou is the courage to know; to look about you and see what is happening in this old and tired world; to realize the extent and depth of its rebirth and the promise which glows on yonder hills.

Visit the Soviet Union and visit China. Let your youth learn the Russian and Chinese languages. Stand together in this new world and let the old world perish in its greed or<

Reading Garden of Eden story as a parable , an allegory, a symbolic story , it has the same idea of human origin as anthropology; human origin is the invention of symbolic communication within and down through generations; language and culture. <

Eating the fruit of the Tree of the Fruit of knowledge of Good and Evil is a parable , symbolic representation, of inventing Culture -Custom-Rules of Behavior-Manners .<

A parable is a succinct, didactic (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Didacticism) story, in prose (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prose)or verse (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verse_(poetry)), that illustrates one or more instructive lessons or principles. It differs from a fable (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fable) in that fables employ animals (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal), plants (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plant), inanimate objects, or forces of nature as characters, whereas parables have human characters.[1] A parable is a type of metaphorical (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaphor) analogy (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analogy) .[2] (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rembrandt_Harmensz_van_Rijn_-_Return_of_the_Prodigal_Son_-_Google_Art_Project.jpg)The Return of the Prodigal Son (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Return_of_the_Prodigal_Son_(Rembrandt)), by Rembrandt ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rembrandt), 1660s

Some scholars of the canonical gospels (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canonical_gospels) and the New Testament (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Testament) apply the term "parable" only to the parables of Jesus (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parables_of_Jesus) ,[3]need quotation to verify (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Verifiability) [4](page needed (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources)] although that is not a common restriction of the term Bible, King James Version

Genesis Lecture - Anthropology - My hypothesis is that several parables at the beginning of the Jewish- Christian Bible and Muslim Koran in the Book of Genesis are ancient discoveries of several truths concerning the origin of human beings; truths which have been discovered by anthropological science in both ethnology (cultural anthropology) among living Stone Age Peoples and paleo-anthropology (study of human evolution from ancient hominin fossils and artifacts from the Stone Age and the pre-Stone Age periods)

Essentially, the hypothesis concerns the story that the Garden of Eden has two trees: The Tree of Life and The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. " Knowledge of Good and Evil is reasonably interpreted as a system of Morals, Ethics, "Do's and Don'ts", Custom of Behavior, Rules of Peoples" Conduct or CULTURE. I infer from this that the human origin described _is_ the origin of Culture, in the same way that anthropology has found that Genus Homo's origin is specifically in the origin of Culture (and Language). So, anthropological evolutionists and Biblical Creationists might be seen to agree in a way.

The Tree of Life is the very same term that Charles Darwin used as a metaphor or parable for the portrayal of his theory that all life is related to all other life through common ancestor species out of which they evolved by way of Natural Selection. A Tree's typical branching form is a way to portray the logic of Darwinian evolutionary phylogeny. _Furthermore I hypothesize, that the ancient authors of the Tree of Life parable, had discovered Darwin's principles of evolutionary phylogeny ! They used the parable to express the same scientific truth that Darwin did !

Not only that: Tree logic is exactly category-classification logic of increasingly inclusive categories. This is a fundamental property of LANGUAGE. So, this part of the story or parables of human origin expresses that same idea as modern anthropological science's discovery that Genus Homo ( the Stone Age) begins with LANGUAGE.

Elsewhere in the Bible is expressed that idea that "In the Beginning was the Word," which I would interpret as that same idea as human origin is in language.

Thus, these parables can be interpreted to express the same ideas that I taught in earlier class sessions, that the human species are distinguished from all other animals and life by having Culture or Custom and Language. <

A larger hypothesis I have is that the_ Alphabetically Written_ Bible is a recording of what at the time were Memorized and Orally presented Stories-Myths from the Stone Age of 100's of thousands of years (we have studied the Stone Age extensively in this class).

Alphabetic Writing originates with so-called Civilization, approximately 6, 000 year ago simultaneously with origin of Male Supremacism, Private Property-Slavery and the State-Hierarchy-Military capturers and controllers of slaves.

And, hypothetically, this newly founded priesthood of alphabetic writers make some changes to the ancient stories. They found what I term Religion (which is different than Stone Age Ancestor Veneration ) in order to have a culture -ideology that controls said slaves. <

Religion's signal characteristic is GODS, defined as _immortal INDIVIDUALS_. Stone Age Ancestor Veneration recognized that Ancestor Generations were in fact DEAD, MORTAL But, the Dead Generations attained a certain type of immortality by leaving the legacy of Culture and Language to future generations. This is Culture and Language as _Natural_ Soul or Spirit, Material Soul, _ not_ super-natural or mystical soul. Language is a material thing or process in the form of spoken words and vibrations of air molecules or ink on paper or grooves in stone.<

This material is what is" immortal", able to be passed down through the generations because DISPLACEMENT capacity of symbolic signs (as discussed in previous lectures); immortal in the sense that it survives the deaths of many people over the many generations.<

Getting back to God in Genesis, I am hypothesizing that the originators of Religion transform/distort the Messages from Ancestors of Many Generations, _many_ Individual People who pass on Wisdom in Stories and Myths , distort that into one imaginary Individual, GOD. And the priests are the only one's of knowledge of God's Word.<

The Ancestors in Dead Generations wanted their children and grandchildren to "eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil", learn their culture-moral system. The Religious Priests turned this into a disobedience of God as a basis for claiming that all "men" are born in sin ( and Eve, a woman, committed the first sin), and so must earn their living by the sweat of their brow. IN OTHER WORDS, WORK, LABOR, TOIL IN THEIR MASTERS' FIELDS, in the newly originated large scale agriculture and animal husbandry of the newly arising so-called civilization. As opposed to the less toilsome foraging, hunting and gathering of wild food that was the way of making a living in the Stone Age (in the Garden of Eden).

"God" as Dead Ancestors, as a father wanting children Adam and Eve to gain knowledge of Good and Evil, and become "GodS" (plural) like the Dead Ancestors had been when they were alive with all the accumulated knowledge, wisdom, they had from earlier Dead Ancestors. In a later, Chapter of Genesis, Cain kills his brother Abel. However, God tells people not to take revenge on Cain. This is the same advice Darwin would give a species. Don't start a revenge cycle as this would lower your species Darwinian fitness. ///

“Lecture notes on Creationists /Evolutionists points of agreement” In some of today s popular discourse, there is a debate between Biblical Creationists and Scientist/Evolutionists; Christians vs Darwinists. My thesis that there is agreement between some of my ideas of Human Origin and some key sections of the Bible interpreted as Parables or even literally.

Please recall the following section of my essay "Is Human Nature Social or Selfish?, which I gave you as part of the first lecture of the class several weeks ago:<

The first human societies had an extraordinarily high survival need to be able to rely on each other at levels of solidarity that we cannot even imagine. The intensity of the network of social connections of a band of 25 to 50 people living in the ecological food chain location would almost constitute a new level of organic organization and integrity above individual bodies; ancient kinship/culture systems as super-organic bodies; the human social group as harmonious multi-individual Body, organism. The Individual human bodies, all of the Some Bodies, were very frail and weak relative to the field of predators they were escaping. Up-right posture made them slower sprinters , too !<

The dominance of the food chain that humans ultimately reached even in the Stone Age could be reached only by super-social, super internally-cooperative, super-intra-species harmony, because they had relatively frail _ individual_ bodies, and needed each other's support.

It is dear to me that ratural selection picked hominin groups with policies of "love thy neighbor as thyself" and "charity" over those that might have derived principles of "selfishness and greed", if there were any in the Stone Age before Civilization. Institutionalized war would have been selected against through the whole Stone Age

Importantly, to the question " is human nature social or selfish, this is when humans became "hardwired" genetically, establishing our NATURE!

Here is Jesus on the Greatest Commandment: 36 Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? 37 Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Ta] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.'[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these

((( DARWIN AND ANTHROPOLOGISTS WOULD SUBSTANTIALLY AGREE WITH THE ESSENCE OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS WHICH JESUS SUMMARIZED AS “LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF “ AS FOLLOWING THOSE PRINCIPLES WOULD RAISE HOMO SAPIENS DARWINIAN FITNESS.

You shall have no other Gods before me You shall not make for yourselves an idol You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy Honor your father and your mother (that thy days may be long) <

(CB: This is filial piety. It is through filial piety that ancestor veneration is practiced. Recall how I have argued that ancestor veneration as symbolic inheritance has raised humans Darwinian fitness)

You shall not murder ( CB: Clearly this bolsters species Darwinian fitness And all the following are preventive of internal species conflict and struggle. Darwin would give the sam advice)

You shall not commit adultery You shall not steal You shall not give false testimony You shall not covet ((((

Other sections of the Bible with advice that raises our species Darwinian fitness or shows scientific knowledge:

Making the Heaven and Earth as Almighty DEAD Ancestors _Named_ them. The Sky is created by naming it.

Garden of Eden a) Work Ethic vs Garden of Eden toil; b) Mortality; C) Snake lies; only with symbolic communication can there be lying ;it's a lie because snakes can't lie, can't use words, so can't use words falsely. It's a lie about a "lie." <

Jacob and the Lambs; knowledge of Mendelian genetics.<

Faith, Hope, Charity; the greatest of these is charity.

Man doeth not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth from the Mouth of God<

(CB: Anthropologists agree; if every word from the Mouth of God is interpreted as Custom-Ancestral Symbolic Legacy .)<

Love thy Neighbor as thyself; Darwin would say the same because it tends to species population growth; See my essay " Is Human Nature Social or Selfish ?'below<

Blessed are the Peacemakers; Darwin would say same.<

Give your money and riches to the Poor: Would tend aid species population growth

FROM _THE ESSENCE OF ANTHROPOLOGY_ "BIology, Genetics, and Evolution Evolution and Creation Stories The mythology of most peoples includes a story explaining the example, explains human origins. The Nez Perce, American Indians native to eastern Oregon and Idaho, provide us with a vastly different story. For the Nez Perce, human beings are the creation of Coyote, a trickster-transformer. Coyote chased the giant beaver monster Wish-poosh over the earth, leaving a trail to form the Columbia River. When Coyote caught Wishpoosh, he killed him, dragged his body to the riv-erbank, and cut it into pieces, each body part transforming into one of the various peoples of this region. The Nez Perce were made from Wishpoosh's head, thus conferring on them great intelligence and horsemanship (Clark, 1966)."

Creation stories depict the relationship between humans and the rest of the natural world, sometimes reflecting a deep connection among people, other animals, and the earth. In the Nez Perce creation story, groups of people derive from specific body parts-each possessing a special talent and relationship with a particular animal. By contrast, the story of creation in Genesis-shared by Jews, Christians, and Muslims— emphasizes human uniqueness and the concept of time. Creation takes place as a series of actions over the course of six days. God's final act of creation is to fashion the first human in his own image before the seventh day of rest.

Like creation stories, evolution, the major organizing principle of the biological sciences, accounts for the diversity of life on earth. Evolution provides mechanisms for change and explanations for how the variety of organisms, both in the past and today, came into being. Evolution differs from creation stories in that it explains the diversity of life in a consistent scientific language, using testable ideas (hypotheses). Scientists make comparisons among living organisms to test hypotheses drawn from evolutionary theory. Scientists have deciphered the molecular basis of evolution and the mechanisms through which evolutionary forces work on populations of organisms." ((((()))

Human Nature Social or Selfish ? by Charles D. Brown One student asked "what does anthropology matter ? what difference does it make ?". Good, mature questions for a high school student.

One way that anthropology might help us in the here and now is to bring scientific and biological paleontological evidence, from the Stone Age 100,000's of years ago, to bear on the question of what is human nature today ? Is it human nature to be greedy and selfish like Wall Street billionaires ? Or is it human nature to share and "love thy neighbor as thyself" ? _Sapiens_" means "wise" In Latin. Homo sapiens (Latin: "wise human" ) is the scientific name for the human species. Homo is the human genus, which also includes Neanderthals and many other extinct species of hominin; H. sapiens is the only surviving species of the genus Homo. Modern humans are the subspecies Homo sapiens sapiens, which differentiates us as a sub-species from our closely related sub-species Homo sapiens Neanderthal. Some living humans have Neanderthal genes; this means that we are the same species as Neanderthals, who you have probably heard of.

What is humans' unique nature ? What is culture ( custom) ? For anthropology, culture is the unique species characteristic of _homo sapiens_. In a sense, "culture" is another word for "wisdom", from the notion that humans are the species _homo wise_. It is humans socially learned practices, customs, language, traditions, beliefs, religion, spirituality that make us "wise" in so many ways, certainly clever and winners _as a species_ ( not just as a few "fit" Individuals) in the struggles and snuggles to survive as a species. <

Since the advent of civilization, sometimes it's not so clear how wise our culture makes us. Therein lies the central drama of the history of the human species. Nonetheless, clearly in the Stone Age, our having culture was a highly adaptive advantage over species that did not have culture, stone tools made through culture, etc, raising our species fitness. This is evidenced by _homo sapiens_ expanding in population and therefore migrating to an expanded area of living space across the earth, out of what is now Africa to the other continents. Stone Age foraging and kinship organized societies were the mode of life forthe vast majority of time of human species 'existence, 99% or more. <

The first human societies had an extraordinarily high survival need to be able to rely on each other at levels of solidarity that we cannot even imagine. The intensity of the network of social connections of a band of 25 to 50 people living in the ecological food chain location would almost constitute a new level of organic organization and integrity above individual bodies; Original human societies were ancient kinship/culture systems , super-organic bodies; the human social group was a harmonious multi-individual Body, organism. The Individual human bodies, all of the Some Bodies, were very frail and weak relative to the field of predators they were escaping. Up-right posture made them slower runners in sprints , too !<

The dominance of the food chain that humans ultimately reached even in the Stone Age could be reached only by super-social, super internally-cooperative, super-intra-species harmony ans balance , not competition and "savage" rivalry because they had relatively frail_ individual_ bodies, and needed each other's support. It is clear to me that natural selection picked hominid groups with policies of "love thy neighbor as thyself" and "charity" over those that might have derived principles of "selfishness and greed", if there were any in the Stone Age before Civilization. Institutionalized war would have been selected against through the whole Stone Age; war , savage rivalry only arises with so-called Civilization . <

Importantly, to the question " is human nature social or selfish, " the Stone Age is when humans became "hardwired" genetically, establishing our NATURE ! When our Nature was established we were NOT warring , male supremacist or greedy. So, our nature is social not selfish. <

Nat king Cole, Nature Boy Nat king Cole, Nature Boy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qOXJC/1Srw <

Some one commented :OK, both. I could make arguments either way. People are social animals, but they also act in their best (often selfish) interests.

Charles Brown No, original humans relied more than other species on each other, on kinship relations. Human individual bodies were relatively frail and weak, and bi-pedalism made them slow runners. So, humans were very interdependent and highly social by nature. Our species name should be _homo socialis_. Selfishness and greed would have been selected against in the Darwinian sense. So, the answer is not both, but social. Greed and selfishness arise with civilization, after hundreds of thousands of years of "love thy neighbor as thyself" as the central principle of human societies, and the key to our adaptive advantage and ticket to the top of the food chain. Love thy neighbor as THYSELF is not self-less.

It is wise in that the best way to love yourself is to get along with others well. Now individual mortal beings, animals, do have an instinct of self-preservation, to avoid death. But dangers of death or injury did not come from other individuals of the same species. War is against our individual instinct and our species's original nature, which was peaceful toward other members of the species.

" The decisive battle between early culture and human nature must have been waged on the field of primate sexuality.... Among subhuman primates sex had organized society; the customs of hunters and gatherers testify eloquently that now society was to organize sex.... In selective adaptation to the perils of the Stone Age, human society overcame or subordinated such primate propensities as selfishness, indiscriminate sexuality, dominance and brute competition. It substituted kinship and co-operation for conflict, placed solidarity over sex, morality over might. In its earliest days it accomplished the greatest reform in history, the overthrow of human primate nature, and thereby secured the evolutionary future of the species." - Sahlins, M. D. 1960 The origin of society. Scientific American 203(3): 76-87.

Things change ; that’s dialectics ; society changes very fast under capitalism. Why ?

"The bourgeoisie cannot exist without constantly revolutionising the instruments of production, and thereby the relations of production, and with them the whole relations of society. Conservation of the old modes of production in unaltered form, was, on the contrary, the first condition of existence for all earlier industrial classes. Constant revolutionising of production, uninterrupted disturbance of all social conditions, everlasting uncertainty and agitation distinguish the bourgeois epoch from all earlier ones. All fixed, fast-frozen relations, with their train of ancient and venerable prejudices and opinions, are swept away, all new-formed ones become antiquated before they can ossify. All that is solid melts into air, all that is holy is profaned, and man is at last compelled to face with sober senses his real conditions of life, and his relations with his kind." <

Why rapid change in capitalism? <

• why does society change so • Al Overview In capitalist systems, societies can experience rapid change due to a combination of factors:<

• Incentives for Innovation and Growth: Capitalism's competitive nature drives businesses to constantly innovate, introduce new products and technologies, and seek efficiencies to gain an advantage in the market. This pursuit of profit fuels technological advancements, which can significantly alter the ways people live, work, and interact with each other, leading to accelerated social change.

This can lead to shifts in production methods, the types of jobs available, and even the values and skills needed in the workforce, according to the Center for Humans & Nature.

• Individualism and Consumerism: Capitalism promotes individualism, where personal preferences and needs often take precedence over collective norms and duties. This focus, along with the ready availability of goods and services, encourages consumerism and a culture of seeking the "new" and "better," according to Brookings. This can lead to evolving lifestyles, trends, and the commodification of various aspects of life, including arts and culture.

• Technological Disruption: The ongoing pursuit of innovation under capitalism often gives rise to disruptive technologies that can radically transform industries, job markets, and social structures, notes The Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance. For instance, the Industrial Revolution fundamentally reshaped society with mass production and factory work. • Globalization and Interconnectedness:

Globalization and Interconnectedness: Capitalism's global reach leads to interconnected economies and societies, where changes in one part of the world can quickly spread to others. This increased interconnectedness facilitates the rapid diffusion of ideas, technologies, and cultural trends, contributing to faster social change.<

It's important to remember that rapid social change can have both positive and negative consequences. While capitalism can bring about advancements and increased prosperity, it can also exacerbate inequalities, erode traditional social structures, and impact the environment. e How Capitalism Changes Conscience | Center for...

In 1951 Paul Robeson and William Patterson presented the petition "We Charge Genocide" to the UN, launching the Communist Party aligned Civil Rights Congress' campaign to hold the US government accountable for the atrocities committed against Black people, and making the connection between the violence of racial capitalism and US imperialism.

In the context of the pandemic and as we approach the petition's 70th anniversary, the PSC-International Committee organized a discussion on lessons we can learn from the original document and from the Black radical tradition more broadly for our various local and global forms of organizing against racism, colonialism, imperialism, and all forms of oppression within and beyond the university.

The event included an amazing line-up of speakers and panelists: Charisse Burden-Stelly, Ujju Aggarwal, Nellie Bailey, Sarah Raymundo, Angel Martinez, Trevor Ngwane, Rhea B Rahman, and Amber Rivero, introductions by Dr. Marie Louise Patterson and Dr.

Republicans just cut Americans’ health care and food assistance to pay for tax cuts for billionaires

Friend – President Trump just signed a bill into law that will rip health care away from hundreds of thousands of Michiganders, make it harder for families across the country to afford groceries and pay their energy bills, and increase our national debt by trillions of dollars. <

My Democratic colleagues and I did everything we could to stop this betrayal of the American people, but President Trump and Republicans in Congress were dead set on selling out hardworking families to pay for their massive tax cuts for billionaires.

I’ve heard from folks all across Michigan whose lives will be turned upside down by this bill. A constituent in Grand Rapids who won’t be able to pay for an assisted living facility for her grandmother without Medicaid. A mom from Flint who said Medicaid is the only reason her kids can get their asthma medication or have regular health checkups. Folks in Lansing who won’t be able to afford their lifesaving medication.

This bill goes beyond cutting Medicaid. It slashed food assistance programs and will raise the cost of energy — forcing some families in Michigan to choose between putting food on the table and keeping their home warm in the winter.

But I’m going to keep fighting for the hardworking families in our state. Michiganders deserve better than this betrayal from President Trump and Republicans in Congress.

+4 The saying "the worse the better" suggests that making things worse can ultimately lead to positive outcomes, often by highlighting flaws or creating pressure for necessary change. This idea is not universally accepted and has various interpretations depending on the context. Here's a breakdown of what it can mean: 1. Exposing Problems: Making conditions worse can make problems more visible and undeniable, potentially forcing a response or solution. This can be seen in political movements or social activism, where drastic actions may be taken to highlight injustice or inequality.

2. Creating Pressure for Change: When things become unbearable, it can create a sense of urgency and pressure for meaningful change. This can apply to political systems, social structures, or even software development.

3. "Worse is Better" in Software: In software development, "worse is better" refers to prioritizing simplicity and usability over feature-richness. A simpler program, even if less powerful, may be more appealing and practical than a complex one.

4. A Caricature: In some contexts, "the worse the better" is used as a caricature or an oversimplified way of describing a complex situation.

5. Potential for Disaster: The saying can also imply that things will get worse before they get better, and there's a risk of things getting so bad that a crisis or disaster occurs.

In short, "the worse the better" is a provocative statement that suggests that negative conditions can sometimes be necessary for positive change, but it's not without its risks and potential downsides. Did Lenin Actually Ever Say: "The Worse, the Better"? - Equitable Growth Jan 31, 2014

She worked for 7 days. Carried stones. Dug soil. Built a road - with nothing but a pickaxe and a dream. What happened in Burkina Faso is not just a project. It's a revolution in plain sight - and it all began with a leader the world tried to silence:~<< Ibrahim Traore.<

In the heart of West Africa, 20,000 women rose without salary, without contracts, without loans — to pave 350 kilometers of national road in just one week. No foreign aid. No IMF. No headlines from the West. This is Burkina Faso latest news - but more than that, it's a spiritual uprising. A movement led not with money, but with meaning. These women didn't just build a road. They built a future. If this story moves you, comment "Rise" below

Ujima - Collective Work and Responsibility in Burkina Faso

30,000 People Cleaned Burkina Faso in 7 Days — But No One Reported It

The term "collective work and responsibility," also known as Ujima, is a principle of Kwanzaa, an African American and Pan-African holiday. It emphasizes the importance of community and the shared responsibility of its members for both successes and challenges. Ujima encourages active participation and collaboration in addressing community issues and striving for collective well-being. <

It began with a simple call from President Ibrahim Traore He didn't hold a press conference. He didn't launch a government program with contracts and consultants. He simply asked the people Traore . He didn't hold a press conference. He didn't launch a government program with contracts and consultants. He simply asked the people to take responsibility for their communities. And he led by example. In the capital city of Uadugu, he was seen cleaning side by side with citizens. There were no cameras staged for

I’m glad you’re great ; if you’re happy, I’m gonna be happy ; what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, day by day, week by week, month by month…
What was Antoinette Brown Blackwell famous for? <

Born in Henrietta, New York, Antoinette Brown Blackwell was the first woman to be ordained as a minister in the United States. She was also a well-versed public speaker on the social reform issues of her time, and used her religious faith in her efforts to expand women's rights.AND SHE WAS A DARWINIAN EVOLUTIONIST

Blackwell's book on evolution , The Sexes Throughout Nature, critiques Charles Darwin claim that men are superior to women (sic) (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Darwin) four years after he published The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Descent_of_Man,_and_Selection_in_Relation_to_Sex) in 1871,[1] and Herbert Spencer (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbert_Spencer), whom the author thought were the most influential men of her day.[2]Darwin had written a letter to her in 1869, thanking her for a copy of her book, Studies in General Science.[3] She also answers Dr. E. H. Clarke and his book Sex and Education which she deplored.[4] Blackwell's book was republished by Hyperion Press (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Hyperion) in 1976, 1985 and 1992.[5] Parts of the book were first published in Woman's Journal (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woman%27s_Journal) and Popular Science Monthly (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popular_Science).[6] Blackwell chose to highlight balance and cooperation rather than struggle and savage rivalry. She criticized Darwin for basing his theory of evolution on "time-honored assumption that the male is the normal type of his species".[7] She wrote that Spencer scientifically subtracts from the female and Darwin as scientifically adds to the male.[6] It was not until one century later[8] that feminists (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminism)were working from inside the natural sciences, and could address Darwin's androcentricity (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Androcentrism).[1] Sarah Blaffer Hrdy (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Blaffer_Hrdy) wrote in her book Mother Nature: A History of Mothers, Infants and Natural Selection (quoting from an excerpt of pages 12–25 in AnthroNotes for educators published by the National Museum of Natural History (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Museum_of_Natural_History)), "For a handful of nineteenth-century women intellectuals, however, evolutionary theory was just too important to ignore. Instead of turning away, they stepped forward to tap Darwin and Spencer on the shoulder to express their support for this revolutionary view of human nature, and also to politely remind them that they had left out half the species."[9] Hrdy added, "Evolutionary biology did eventually respond to these criticisms, yet in their lifetimes, the effect that these early Darwinian feminists—Eliot (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Eliot), Blackwell (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoinette_Brown_Blackwell), Royer (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cl%C3%A9mence_Royer), and a few others—had on mainstream evolutionary theory can be summed up with one phrase: the road not taken."[10]
AI Overview +2 In "How Europe Underdeveloped Africa," Walter Rodney argues that European colonialism was the primary cause of Africa's underdevelopment. He contends that Europe deliberately structured its relationship with Africa to benefit from its resources and labor, hindering Africa's own economic and social progress. This exploitation, through slavery and colonialism, created a system of dependency that continues to affect Africa today. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Challenging the Narrative:<

Rodney critiques the idea that Africa's underdevelopment was a natural or inevitable outcome, arguing instead that it was a direct result of European actions.

Systematic Exploitation:

He details how European powers systematically extracted Africa's resources, disrupted its economies, and imposed structures that served European interests.

Dependency and Inequality:

The book highlights how colonialism fostered dependency on European powers, hindering Africa's ability to develop its own industries and economies.

Enduring Impact: Rodney emphasizes that the consequences of this historical exploitation continue to shape Africa's development trajectory, contributing to persistent inequalities.

Focus on Political Economy: Rodney's analysis is rooted in political economy, examining the interconnectedness of economic and political factors in shaping Africa's experience. <

Look what the Republicans are doing to white people in Georgia, who voted for them . <

https://youtu.be/mnblTpylshw?si=Zt9vbEoM2_-EUctr<

Voters in a purple state that Donald 0:02 Trump somehow won in 2024 are pissed and 0:06 turning against him. Donald Trump's 0:08 approval in Georgia and many other 0:10 states that he won is underwater. Uh the 0:13 latest polling has his approval at a net 0:17 negative of -6. And that's the polling 0:21 data that we had going into July. Iwe're going to be getting very soon. 0:29 Now, think about what Donald Trump is 0:31 doing in Georgia. I mean, a full-fledged 0:33 attack on Georgia, an attack on 0:35 education in Georgia. Um, even uh 0:38 Republican leadership in Georgia had to 0:41 sue the Trump administration over frozen 0:44 afterchool and summer program uh funding 0:47 with Donald Trump's cuts to the Department of Education. Um, we have 0:52 Donald Trump uh rejecting the request 0:55 from Georgia for supplemental FEMA aid 0:58 regarding Hurricane Helen. He said 1:01 absolutely not. Uh, Donald Trump cutting 1:03 millions and millions of dollars to 19 1:07 Georgia universities. Um, the 1:09 universities whether it's University of 1:11 Georgia, Emory, Georgia Institute of Georgia, Emory, Georgia Institute of 1:14 Technology, Morehouse, uh, Augusta 1:17 University, University of North Georgia, 1:19 go on and on and on and on. and he's cut 1:21 key areas of medical research. He's cut 1:25 um the peanut innovation lab at 1:27 University of Georgia, a very popular 1:30 program there. Other programs impacting 1:32 global food insecurity are being cut in Georgia. Like why would you do that? It 1:38 helps the country. It helps Georgia's 1:40 economy. And also, you know, if you were 1:43 just trying to be selfish about it, 1:45 Georgia voted for you. Why? Why? You 1:47 should you should be a president for all 1:49 people. but he seems like really fixated 1:52 on hurting Georgia, whether it's his 1:54 beef with Governor Kemp or whatever. I 1:56 mean, he just he keeps on going. Um, 1:58 from the Guardian, their headline was, mean, he just he keeps on going. Um, 1:58 from the Guardian, their headline was, 2:00 "You want to see where Trump's tariffs 2:02 are leading US businesses? Look at 2:04 Georgia." And it talks about Georgia's 2:06 economy, $900 billion economy. That's 2:09 somewhere between the size of Taiwan and 2:13 Switzerland. Pretty big deal, right? But 2:16 Donald Trump's tariffs against the 2:18 world. Um the uh attacks on theworld. Um the uh attacks on the 2:21 sovereignty of countries is also 2:24 resulting in tourism drying up in 2:26 Georgia. And you hear stories like this. 2:29 A Georgia town that solidly backed Trump 2:32 could fall victim to his tax bills green 2:35 energy cuts. In this article talks about 2:37 how these two South Korean companies 2:40 announced multi-billion dollar 2:41 investments to build solar panel and electric battery factories in Northwest 2:47 Georgia with federal subsidies helping 2:49 to close a deal to diversify the local 2:53 economy in Carterville. Um Donald 2:56 Trump's disastrous budget bill going to 2:59 uh potentially result in those factories 3:01 getting hit hard, maybe shut down, jobs 3:04 being lost there. It's not to mention 3:06 the huge amount of people who are goingthe huge amount of people who are going 3:08 to lose Medicaid right now in Georgia as 3:11 a result of this disastrous budget bill. 3:13 We saw people out there protesting in 3:15 Atlanta and elsewhere for no kings. Let 3:18 me just share that with you right now 3:19 from this video. Let's play it. 3:21 We are now at capacity at Liberty Blood. 3:29 [Applause] 3:32 This is America. This is Atlanta. Woo!

: "When the US starts to push hard, even traditional allies and friends will move to the only other alternative and that will be China. The Australians are now in China looking to talk trade. Suddenly all the animosity and all the old disagreements have melted away which is really quite funny. Albanese met with President Xi inBeijing. He even went to the Great Wall of China. So he's really paying his respects there. And if we look at the readout, we can tell that Australia is trying to hedge their bets. China is a big trading partner and they buy a ton of Australian commodities. <

Albanese 9:54 isn't on a holiday tour. He is visiting 9:57 his biggest customer. Now, China is 10:00 overwhelmingly by far the largest 10:02 trading partner that Australia has. It his biggest customer. Now, China is 10:00 overwhelmingly by far the largest 10:02 trading partner that Australia has. It 10:04 is very much in the interest of 10:06 Australian jobs and the Australian 10:08 economy to have a positive and 10:11 constructive relationship.

Now, this 10:13 sounds like a Captain Obvious statement, 10:15 but when you have the US breathing down your neck with tariffs, suddenly the urgency to hatch with China goes through the roof. And if China and BRICS are going to be the new growth engines of the world, it's obvious where you want to place your bets.<

When Trump starts slapping the world with commodity tariffs, sooner or later, the US market slapping the world with commodity tariffs, sooner or later, the US market will close up on you. China imports four main things from Australia. Iron ore, natural gas, gold, and agricultural products. The Chinese middle class is going to explode over the next decade, which means consumption power is going to skyrocket. Australian mining alone is around 9 to 10% of the country's entire GDP. And the last thing you want is for China to ignore your exports because you know you sure as hell can't sell to the US markets that easily anymore. Now, Australia has made terrible mistakes, especially with the Orca submarines, but at least they aren't doubling down on this madness. Now, to be frank, thatknow you sure as hell can't sell to the US markets that easily anymore. Now, Australia has made terrible mistakes, especially with the Orca submarines, but at least they aren't doubling down on this madness. Now, to be frank, that sounds ridiculous, right? They are buying nuclear subs from Trump, who's punishing their economy to guard against China, which is their biggest trading partner. And that's why I can't take geopolitics and economics seriously anymore. It's a upside down world. But as always, there are no permanent allies, only permanent interests. Now, Australia is one of the few countries in the world that runs a persistent trade surplus with China. In other words, China runs a big trade deficit of 10 to 20 billion with Australia. Australians are earning money from Chinese trade. China runs a big trade deficit of 10 to 20 billion with Australia. Australians are earning money from Chinese trade. They are selling more to China than what they buy from Beijing. Plus, Albanese probably knows China's building new mines and supply chains around the world. And this makes Australian goods an option and not a necessity. and the last thing he can afford is for China to just play within their own supply chains. So this trip is highly pragmatic and we can expect more countries around the world, even the ones closest to the US to slowly peel away. Australia is going to be one of many more to come. But as always, let me know what you chains. So this trip is highly pragmatic and we can expect more countries around the world, even the ones closest to the US to slowly peel away. Australia is going to be one of many more to come. But as always, let me know what you think. Will Besson close a good deal with China? And will the dollar continue crashing even lower? REPUBLICAN President Rage Erupts as Inflation Rises and His Pollster Openly Panics<

The Daily Blast with Greg Sargent <

On Tuesday, we learned that inflation rose last month. The New York Times said inflation "ac-celerated," ABC News noted it "surged," and other reports observed that REPUBLICAN President Trump's tariffs are starting to produce long-predicted price hikes. <

Republican Trump reacted angrily. He pretended the surge was nonexistent, and then deflected by unleashing a furious tweet at Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell that demanded: "Bring down the Fed rate NOW!!!" Trump, GOP PREZ, then unleashed an angry rant to reporters further excoriating Powell. Trump might have also been ticked because his 2024 cam- paign polling firm just released a memo harshly warning that House Republicans are in trouble in the midterms, and Republican Trump's cuts to the safety net help explain why. We talked to economist Kathryn Edwards, a skillful decoder of Trumpo-nomics. She explains the inflation news, why Trump's perfect storm of policies is badly hurting working people, and how Democrats should respond by swinging big on the economy in ways they usually don't.
Huge blow to Republican economy as prices leap for everyday Americans<

Americans felt a sting at the grocery store last month.<

Overall inflation hit 2.7 percent in June compared to a year earlier, the Labor Department said Tuesday.<

凸 That is 0.3 percent higher than last month's 2.4 percent reading. Core inflation - which cuts out volatile food and energy prices — also saw an uptick to 2.9 percent. 'Today's CPI report was mostly in-line with ex-pectations,' Bret Kenwell, a US Investment Analyst at eloro, told DailyMail.com.

'The only problem is that those expectations had called for a rise in inflation, with year-over-year inflation hitting its highest level since Feb-ruary! So far, the markets have largely shrugged at higher pricing. Dow Jones Futures dropped modestly in the red, while Nasdaq and S&P futures are slightly up.

Yea the Republican Prez, because we have to make the revenge on the Republican Party ; because Republican Trumpy won’t be on the ballot to take it out on him ; we gotta get them to take it out on the other Republicans; they’ll be on the ballot .

#Ain't That THE Truth LOL.. Clueless conservatives racist vote backfires as Trump crashes the economy, raises inflation costs and prices of food and services due to his dumb failed tariff trade war with China, Canada, Mexico, and Yea the Republican Prez,<

Yea the Republican Prez, because we have to make the revenge on the Republican Party ; because Republican Trumpy , the Head Republican won’t be on the ballot to take it out on him ; we gotta get them to take it out on the other Republicans; they’ll be on the ballot .

The Republican Prez is not running again ; he doesn’t “ have to put his base “ back together; he doesn’t need them anymore

Trump's situation right now. MAGA is sundering even as he pontificates. And by the way, to sit there with the least sharp knife in Brussels scabbard, Mark Rut, even less sharp than Jim Stolenberg, is just pathetic. But Trump has to put his base back together. His base is split. Not only the interview Tucker Carlson did with regard to Epstein and that affair which is just devastating for MAGA right now ricocheting all across the country up and down and all across but other things

Another feather in Biden’s cap that the idiotic American masses are ignorant of , so they voted against Dems. The media got them thinking he was too old to do anything great for the People. That medical debt rule would help 10’s of millions of people. You can bet there are ten more rules like that . Americans are so politically stupid. <

Federal judge reverses Biden rule that would have removed medical debt from credit reports

Your gender role learning experience is like the vast majority of Americans. Girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice; boys are made of snips and snails and puppy dog tails ( in other words naughty 👿; little beasts ; girls are little angels ). <

Ironically, this means women learn to be morally superior to men , in general. Yet men , to maintain their male supremacy in theory , have to make up the lie that a woman committed the original sin ; her name is Eve , from which the word Evil obviously derives . <

So your goal is to completely purge your conscious and unconscious mind ( two parts of the same mind) of guilt ! You are basically an angel by Jesus's standards. I know you are modest and you wouldn't say that about yourself, but false modesty is no virtue; virtuous to fault ( like my mother). Of course, you have mistakes , but overall you have treated people very well , cared for them , loved them in the exact sense that Jesus meant . I mean you've already purged a lot of it. <

I don't think of Jesus as literally immortal. However, he was a very wise mortal human being .
SO-CALLED Scientific racism, sometimes termed biological racism, is the _pseudoscientific_ belief that the human species is divided into biologically distinct taxa called "races",[1][2][3] and that empirical evidence exists to support or justify racial discrimination, racial inferiority, or racial superiority.[4][5][6][7] Before the mid-20th century, scientific racism was accepted throughout the scientific community, but it is no longer considered scientific.[5][6] The division of humankind into biologically separate groups, along with the assignment of particular physical and mental characteristics to these groups through constructing and applying corresponding explanatory models, is referred to as racialism, racial realism, race realism, or race science by those who support these ideas. Modern scientific consensus rejects this view as being irreconcilable with modern genetic research.[8] Scientific racism misapplies, misconstrues, or distorts anthropology (notably physical anthropology), craniometry, evolutionary biology, and other disciplines or pseudo-disciplines through proposing anthropological typologies to classify human populations into physically discrete human races, some of which might be asserted to be superior or inferior to others.
Although, Iran is of course keeping its guard up , I’m thinking U.S. and Israel may not want more war : 1) if the Strait of Hermuz are shut down there will be a world depression; 2) Israel would be seriously destroyed; 3) Many American soldiers would die as U.S. bases around Iran would be sitting ducks. 🦆 <

If Iran attack Israel to "finish it off" , it would lose 10,000’s . And the U.S. would invade. US has wanted to invade Iran since the hostage crisis in ‘79. John McCain sang “bomb , bomb, bomb , bomb, bmb Iran” while campaigning against Bama in 2008. On the other hand, Obama heroically got a peace treaty with 🇮🇷 Iran !

Federal judge blocks 'roving' immigration arrests amid Los Angeles crackdown 07/11/2025 10:40 PM EDT A federal judge has blocked the Trump administration’s “roving” immigration arrests amid its large-scale immigration crackdown in Los Angeles, saying aspects of the operation were unconstitutional. U.S. District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong ruled Friday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were conducting “roving patrols” of the city and coordinating arrests without “reasonable suspicion” that their targets were in the country illegally. Rather, she ruled, they are relying on improper factors — race, accent and line of work. “The factors that defendants appear to rely on for reasonable suspicion seem no more indicative of illegal presence in the country than of legal presence — such as working at low-wage occupations such as car wash attendants and day laborers,” the Biden-appointed judge wrote in a 52-page opinion. “That is insufficient and impermissible.”

China’s population is aging rapidly, roughly in line with demographic trends in the rest of the world.

But China’s population decline begins at the highest baseline in human history. And elderly Chinese place a far lighter fiscal burden on their government pension systems, compared to those in Western countries.

China’s population across younger age bands is still substantially higher than in the United States, the EU, Australia, and Canada – combined.

When younger populations across the BRICS countries are considered, demographics in China and across the Global Majority countries are far more favorable today, and in the future, than for the G7.

GOP Border Czar continues 2024-2025 white race riot

Trump's racist 'border czar" admits ICE is breaking the law

DAILY KOS <

Tom Homan, REPUBLICAN President Donald Trump's border czar, admitted Friday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement is racially profiling the immigrants being rounded up in raids across the country. "People need to understand ICE officers and Border Patrol, they don't need probable cause to walk up to somebody, briefly detain them, and question them," Homan said on Fox News, adding that he says ICE agents can detain people "based on ... their physical appearance." VE DAILY KOS Trump administration admits

Indeed, the Trump administration's racial profiling has led multiple U.S. citizens to be wrongfully detained by ICE agents, who, under orders from bigoted White House aide Stephen Miller, have been told to arrest 3,000 immigrants per day to meet an arbitrary deportation goal. That evil order is actually making Americans less safe since ICE officers say they are unable to focus on prioritizing criminals and instead must round up immigrants who are contributing to the U.S. economy, all to meet Miller's goal.<

Racial profiling-as Homan admits ICE is doing-is patently illegal. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution states that the United States cannot "deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." And courts have ruled that targeting someone based on what they look like is a violation of that amendment. <

"This is patently false," Democratic Rep. Daniel Goldman of New York wrote in a post on X, referring to Homan's comments. "DHS has authority to question and search people coming into the country at points of entry. But ICE may not detain and question anyone without reasonable suspicion-and certainly not based on their physical appearance alone. This lawlessness must stop now."<

Of course, the fact that the law prohibits something is not a deterrent for Trump, who not only is too stupid to understand the document but also simply doesn't care about following the law when it gets in his way. Still, Homan's admission on Fox News that ICE is targeting people based on their appearance could be used against the Trump administration in lawsuits seeking to stop ICE raids across the country. Ultimately, not only are the REPUBLICAN Trump administration's cruel immigration policies breaking the law, they are also backfiring. New polling shows that support for immigration in the<
